Even children can become involved in the fight against global warming. If you are a child, a parent of a child or someone who works with children, we hope these ideas will teach you that even young children can play a big role in the fight for our future. There are so many things that we as individuals can do to prevent and reduce global warming that it is a shame not to simply because you do not know what to do.
Often children feel they want to help out with something but they are told they are too young or they feel like they do not know what to do. Even the smallest changes in lifestyle can make a big difference. Also, by teaching your child about global warming at a young age, you help develop healthy habits that will remain with them for many years to come. They will grow into adults who care about the environment and continue to do their part to halt global warming.
Things Kids Can Do:
1.Watch less TV.
2.Carpool with friends when you need to go places.
